Local backup

Description

We can provide you a service for a duration of 1 year to save your server files automatically (code, images, pdf, etc.) and your database, everything is stocked on a hard disk linked to your server (in the same data-center), where the data are cloned multiple times.

The data are preserved J+30, it means that the saves are happening everyday and are preserved for 30 days.

Local backup cover the following risk : files loss, website hacking or even server loss . We can restore those files with an 1 hour intervention and fully re-uploading your server will take around 5 hours.

Data recovery will come with a fee every time an operation is needed.

The Recovery Time objective – RTO is of 4 business day.

Common questions :

• I’m hosted by IRCF. Do i have a backup option ?
  – If you are in a shared hosting or ProActiv website, you automatically benefit from a local and distant backup, you have nothing to do.
  – If you are in a dedicated/cloud hosting, then you need to ask our sales consultant to ensure this option is currently in place.
• I have a shared hosting, can you set-up your local backup option for me ?
  NO. For a shared hosting, the local backup should be taken care by your host. Contact your host or your webmaster to make sure that a local backup already exist for you. If you bought a web maintenance to IRCF then we may help, by taking a bit of the maintenance time to set-up a local save with your host, however we may charge depending on the host you are with. You can also check our distant backup as it might be a good option for you.
• I have servers in my facility, can you set-up your local backup option for me ?
  YES, if it is a Linux server. We are currently examining a solution for the Windows servers
