Distant backup

Description

We can provide you a service for a duration of one year to save your server files automatically (code, images, PDFs, etc.) and your database, everything is stored on a secure NAS, accessible only by IRCF, where the data are cloned multiple times.

The data are preserved D+7, which means that the backups are happening every day and retained for 7 days.

Distant backup covers the following risks : file loss, website hacking, server loss or even data center loss. We can restore those files with a 1 hour intervention and re-uploading your server will take around 5 hours.

Data recovery will come with a fee every time an operation is needed.

The Recovery Time Objective – RTO is 4 business day.

Common questions :

• I am hosted by IRCF. Do I have a backup option ?
  – If you are in a shared hosting or ProActiv website, you automatically benefit from a local and distant backup, you have nothing to do.
  – If you are in a dedicated/cloud hosting, then you need to ask our sales consultant to ensure this option is currently in place.
• I have shared hosting, can you set up your distant backup option for me ?
  YES. Our distant backup option can be installed on the condition your server has SSH access, that you have to transmit to us during the setup.
• I have servers in my own facility, can you set up your distant backup option for me ?
  YES. You just have to be in possession of a fixed IP and SSH access.
